UPCA TOWNWIDE YARD SALE!
Saturday, May 10

The University Park Civic Association is a self-governing, non-profit organization of residents of the Town of University Park, Maryland.  The UPCA sponsors more than a dozen events each year through the annual supporting contribution of $25 per family, and some funding from the Town of University Park.  The list of fun events and the volunteer event managers are on the 2014 Events Page.

The UPCA meets the last Tuesday of each month, alternating a regular meeting with a UPCA Social at the home of a town resident.  All meetings and socials begin at 7:00 p.m.  Meetings and socials for 2014 will be posted in January.

Mark your calendars for the following dates already

on the 2014 UPCA calendar.

Tuesday, April 29 -- 7:00 p.m.: UPCA Social at the home of Dawn Nichols and Joe Schultz, 7002 College Heights Drive, CHE.  Come when you can, stay as long as you wish!  Get to know some new neighbors and catch up with "old" friends.  Refreshments will be served.

Saturday, May 10 -- 9:00 a.m.: Spring UPCA Townwide Yard Sale.  Clean out your attic, basement, closets or garage.  Your "trash" may be someone else's "treasure."

Sunday, June 8 -- 9:30 a.m.: UPCA First Annual Mutt Strut!  Meet at the UP Soccer Field.  Entry fee is $5.00 per person.

Attention Parents/Caregivers
of Infants and Preschoolers!
UPCA UPPlaygroups

Calling all parents/caregivers of infants and preschoolers!  Get to know your neighbors with young children at this free event.  Playgroups are a great way for babies and children to develop and practice their social skills, and the easiest way to find or form a playgroup is by attending the annual UPplaygroup Meet 'n' Greet.  Representatives from established groups that would welcome new members are encouraged to attend as well or to send their contact information to one of the coordinators (Michelle Wedge at mdwedge@gmail.com or Christine Becraft at christine_n_d@yahoo.com).  Light refreshments will be available courtesy of the University Park Civic Association.
